I've watched all but one of the Republican Debates. I've watched closely as the media panned the audience. Where are the people of color? The rooms are packed with White people. There have to be colored people living in South Carolina and Florida. And the last Florida debate the Hispanics were in a seperate room. Seperate but equal ideoligies were supposed to have been crushed with the end of segragation. I didn't expect a lot of colored people in Iowa or New Hamshire as the population ratio's in those two states are mainly white. The Republican party is still the same old white boys party. Even as the canidates pander to the Cubans to get their votes they don't bring them into the rooms. The questions at the debates also sucked. Where is the substance questions that are needed for the voters to really know what that canidate will actually do if elected? And why doesn't the media confront a canidate when that canidate lies. Why can't they fact check fast enough to to let the public know that the canidate is lying or fudging facts. The media should be on the side of the people so the people have the information they need to make a sound and accurate judgement. The moderator should tell them at the beginning of the debate that they will be fact-checked and all distortion of the truth will be called out. That would be fun to watch.
